I presume you mean the non-emergency number. I think they are in the process of changing the number and I have sent an inquiry to the Fire Chief. Of course, all fire calls are handled through the 911 system for Williamson County. The 911 operators decide who to call out, depending upon the circumstances. For example, if the Coupland Fire Department is already out on a call, they know who to call as a backup.

    Dear Sir or Madam,
My name is Reiner Nickel, and I live in the city of Dessau in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It is the home region of the Nickel family.
The name Nickel is not unknown in Coupland and the surrounding area.
Christoph Franz Nickel was born on June 13, 1842, in Nauendorf, a small village near Dessau. He died on or before June 11, 1912, in Coupland, Williamson County, Texas, United States.
His wife was Henriette Bernhard, born on June 13, 1842, in Wörlitz. She died on or before March 30, 1927, in Coupland, Williamson, Texas, United States. She was buried, like her husband,
in St. Peter’s United Church of Christ Cemetery, Williamson, Texas, United States.
I would like to visit this cemetery on May 30, 2025, or May 31, 2025.
Do you have any information about this family or any living descendants in your archives?

I would be happy to discuss the history of the Nickel family with you.

    Best regards,
    Reiner Nickel

Hello Reiner. I just saw your message. I will pass it along to a couple folks in Coupland. I no longer live in that area but I maintain this website as a service to the Coupland Community. As it says in my last post, it is in archive status. I check it often to make sure it is functioning properly.
